Sandy Beach 3D App Reviews

This app is just an outstanding simulation of a real-beach environment. It is calming, visually engaging, and soothing. If the designers were looking for ideas, the beach sounds could also have an additional selction pop-up choice category (buttoned) to provide some ambient open source music (in an either/or/or both format) added to make it even better (I do that by playing more than a single app at once). I think it was an excellent idea to give you the capability to select wallpaper or screensaver (built in to the app - so you can manually make the shift).

2013 Retina Macbook Pro 8 Gigs ram 256 Gig SSD OS X Mavericks Avoid. Causes MAcbook to run SUPER HOT! In order to run this, its an actual app that uses up over a gig ram. I assumed it was a “live wallpaper” and could be activated thru settings but you don’t. You actually run it like a normal app, because its software. Caused the whole bottom of my Macbook to get very hot and fan was running like mad!! BUT It is TRULY beautiful!!

Very nice animated desktop / screen saver that doesnt use too much resources. Would like to see a brighter skyline.

I have it on my wallpaper now. Love it. Can adjust the sounds of the wallpaper musics as well as the effects individually, both as wallpaper and screen saver. Very realistic looking except for when the water washes over the conch seashell. There should be bubbles or the water should be going around it instead of through it. You guys really should have just not let the water go up to it at all, the water also doesn’t look very real when going over the tree roots that are sticking up out of the sand. Again, if you had just limited the water washing up you could have avoided this altogether, a really simple adjustment, but it’s all good. I still enjoy it. Would have really knocked mysocks off if you had just limited the water waves so they wouldn’t go up to the shell and tree roots.

It’s a great application, especially for the price. It’s calming and relaxing, espcially with the ocean sound on. Great Value!!!!

I have the Sandy Beach and the Watch and enjoy both. I use a mac and would sure like some holiday mac themes.

Really nice wallpaper. Makes me want to go on vacation. Now PLEASE make a animated wall paper for the Futuristic City screen saver for MAC. That would ROCK!

The artwork is stunning, and the scene reminds me so much of the beaches in Belize. I like to turn up the volume so I can hear the waves throughout my house and pretend I’m living on the beach. I can’t remember what I paid for it but it was well worth the price. I agree with the reviewer who pointed out that the waves washing up on the conch and the roots don’t look very realistic. The developer should pull the waves back a bit. Otherwise, this is an outstanding screensaver/wallpaper app.

I like it a lot. We spend a lot of time in Maui and it reminds us of being there. The graphics could be a bit better on the waves.

i like alot of this scenery but it is missing some star fish
