The bad frame rate pretty much kills the mood. On a 13" macbook pro retina mid-2014. The app CPU is at 10% in activity monitor.

I’m an island, west coast beach lover stuck on the east coast with no beach. I was looking for something to help me relax while I work from home surrounded by no beach. This app is perfect. The sound of the waves and the simple look of the water is just enough. I was nervous it might be too complicated with fish or whales and a whole lot of action. But it was just right. the look of the app is Simple but refreshing. it plays even when i have other applications up and I love that too! I turned the automatic island music off though. The sound of the beach was what I wanted so I’m glad there’s a feature to turn off just the music both on desktop and screensaver. Oh one more thing, though I love the cloudy storm look it would be nice to have a nice sun feature, sunset or sunrise would be great!

This company only publishes really great apps. I was hooked early and soon bought them all. Im hoping Sandy Beach will eventually cause beach dreams as easily as it now puts me to sleep. I also love having the sound running in the background while I work AND the ultra wide dual monitor option across my 27” iMac and ajoining 46” Samsung TV in my bedroom. This is truly a class act!

The „Span“ mode over dual displays doesnt work anymore since updating to OSX Mavericks. Please fix that soon :-)

Love love love love LOVE this background. The only down side is it distracts me lol. Sometimes, I just sit and stare at it!

I never get tired of watching it! This application really wants me to be there and soak in everything.

Whats not to like. Its both beautiful and relaxing. Its like being in your own Corona commercial.

The slow movement is not distracting and the usage and sound features have just the right amount of controls to get the job done. Either as a Desktop background, screensaver or both its simple and pleasing to the eye and ear. For those of us in the upper midwest it makes for a nice ocean front window seat that takes us back to that Carribean vacation that went by so fast. It is a pleasent change in scenery from the dreary spring weather out the real window. Great job!

I mean really, this is amazin. For .99 you get peace of mind that your screen is not going to burn in an image. You do get tired of it after about 12,000 hours but just turn it off for a little while. You control the wave sounds and teek othger things ? but as a plain package , it cant bve beat.

Worth the price. Not sure if there are any updates coming, but if there are any, then I cant wait..

Love the music

This is the best animated wallpaper out there. It is realistic and the movement is just right. It really looks like you could climb into the screen and find yourself on the beach.

A nice way to watch and relax!

Excellent app. Works without issue. Not too bad on battery life, bonus! Slow moving perspective view pans back and forth behind Palm tree. Nice Sandals, lol Running on 15inch MacBook Pro W/Retina 8gb ram. 512 SSD, Core i7 No Problem ;-) Will not disappoint, get it !

Awesome app! Works great! Adding more options in future updates would make it perfect ;)….. Had a similar app on droid tablet about a year ago. Could customize beach, add chairs, umbrellas, animated planes, dolphins, banners, fire, boats, lighthouse. Also could set to change daylight with my timezone! Some of these additions with some music variance = 5 star A++…….in the meantime love it.

This is my favorite one from 3 planesoft. I have a dual screen setup for my mac and it looks really good. The palm tree stretches onto the secondary screen and moves from side to side. Well done!

I use this to teach childbirth classes and it is wonderful to have up when we do breathing and relaxation!

I so enjoyed my vacation to Hawaii. Now that Im back to the stresses @ work & in the Midwest, watching the waves transports me back to that fabulous 2 weeks of rest & peacefulness. But, my son says it does slow my computer down some as I always have it running in the background.

Beautiful colors and sounds work together to provide one of the best screensavers Ive had the pleasure of using.

I bought this app and the graphics are poor and not good. First thing my sister says is "well thats fake." Please give me a refund.
